First of all let me introduce what Designer baby is, because maybe some of you are not familiar with it. According the wikipedia.org website "Designer baby refers to a baby whose genetic makeup has been artificially selected by genetic engineering combined with in vitro fertilization to ensure the presence or absence of particular genes or characteristics"(wikipedia.org). Moreover my designing baby you could also choose gender, eye color and hair color of your baby. But the main purpose of designing baby is to make him healthy and without any kind of disease. I heard about Designer Baby couple of weeks ago and it roused interest in me. As we are studying in scientific university, I guess it will also be interesting for readers to learn about new technologies which are developing every day. Before writing the essay about Designer Baby I’m going to make a deep research about it on Internet. Firstly I’m going to write about designer baby in general. What is that and how the procedure happening. Secondly I’m planning to write about its biological risks and negative effects. And finally I’m going to write about is that morally right to design the baby? But the main part of my essay will be related with its biological risks. In some sources I found out that it has some biological risks but from the other hand in other sources it is mentioned that there is no biological risk in designer baby.
